OPPORTUNITY
This is an interactive extension to the current Psychology Today article that would help people actively grieving a breakup to identify their emotions and learn more about the process of grief.

ICON SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT
I started with researching current visual associations with the emotions of grief and then exploring through sketches ways to expand them. Then I applied different graphic styles and started to develop a system for all of the icons to follow.

USER TESTING
I used Google Forms to survey 25 people to match the emotion to the icon. Users were easily able to identify Shock and Hope, but many needed adjustments. Changing Relapse and External Bargaining, made the icons more commendable.

APPLICATION
Translating Psychology Today into an app with interactive features. Starting with journey mapping to identify the task flow, and then wireframing.
